Poker Winnings – How to Play for Millions in Profits Quickly

Friday, July 31st, 2009

If you are a good poker player, you already have the skills to play a different game – one that offers far bigger rewards for the skills you have.

So, what is the game? – Trading financial markets such as currencies, which is an area that many poker players excel in – many of the world’s greatest traders are poker players too!

My first job was in a financial brokerage, and I watched in amazement as a guy put down $20,000 – and traded it to $685,000 in just 4 months!

When talking to him, he revealed his passion for poker – and that he decided to trade, as he felt it would be easier, and the rewards were bigger – and for him, this came to fruition!

In fact, many of the world’s top traders are great poker or blackjack players – and they switched “games”, to play for rewards that can total millions quickly – which led them to financial freedom.

Moving from Poker to Trading

Trading is actually easy to learn than poker, and within about 14 days, you can develop a method that puts the odds in your favor – so you can trade for big profits.

Most traders don’t lose because they have a bad method – they normally lose because they can’t trade without emotion, and with discipline – they have no idea of money management – but poker players already have these skills.

All you need is a Method to apply that puts the Odds in your Favor

You can learn everything about trading in around 14 days – you will then have all the knowledge you need to go and trade for huge profits.

Trading represents the final frontier of the free market economy – and you have the opportunity for massive gains.

The Power of Leverage

When you trade, you can leverage your money. For example, put down $5,000 dollars with a currency broker, and they will give you leverage of 100:1 so you can trade $500,000!

Of course, this leverage is double-edged sword, but if used correctly, you can make massive profits that far exceed what you can make playing poker.

So why do Poker Players make such Great Financial Traders?

To succeed when playing poker, you need a method – and to apply it with discipline – playing when the conditions are right, to gain the big profits – and this is exactly the same in trading.

Here are some similarities between the two games:

1. Putting the Odds in Your Favor

In poker you only play when you think you have the odds in your favor and this is a skill all the great traders have.

They have patience and only trade when the conditions are right, and the profit potential is high.

2. Money Management

Just as you manage your bankroll in poker, you also do so in trading – varying bet size to maximize your profits, and having the discipline to cut your losses quickly.

3. Discipline

Just as most card players lack discipline, so do traders.

You need discipline to execute your method through losing periods – and have the confidence that you will win over the longer term.

If you’ve ever thought you Couldn’t Trade – then think Again!

The rewards for successful trading are far greater than in poker – and the effort required, once you’ve learned a method, is far less – in just an hour a day, you could be making huge profits.

Play in a bigger stakes “game” today – financial trading in markets such as currencies requires the same skills you already use when playing poker.

You have an opportunity to play for higher rewards using the skills you already have – and anyone can learn a method – it’s discipline, and money management that makes a successful financial trader – and you already have these skills.

Winning at Limit Poker

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Limit poker is one of the most difficult games to make money at consistently. The primary reason for this is because it is nearly impossible to bet enough to force a player out of any given hand. A player that consistently plays connected cards tend to hit a middle pair and call to the river, making it hard to win with AceKing, when you don’t hit the flop.

Here are a few tips on how to win at limit poker.

The first thing in playing any poker game is being selective of the hands you play. This is particularly important in limit poker. The quality of your starting hands will play a huge role in the number of pots you win. I suggest that you stick with the top ten starting hands of poker. You wont be playing many hands, but you also wont be throwing away unnecessary money with bad hands.

The next important tip in limit poker is how to play the hands you DO play. If you apply the rule of only playing the top ten starting hands, you should play these hands super aggressive. This means you raise or reraise as many times as possible preflop until the bets have been capped. There are good chances that you will still have some callers.

Depending on if you still figure to have the best hand, will determine how you play the flop. If you did not hit your hand, but think you still have over cards, you can call to the river. Since your playing limit, no player can over bet the pot to force you out of the hand. You may still hit one of your over cards and you certainly have the pot odds to make the call. If you actually did hit your hand, don’t slow play. Continue to raise and reraise to reach the cap. These are the hands that you will build your chip stacks with.

There are certain things you need to watch for when continuing to ‘jam’ the pot. Just because you hit a set on the flop, doesn’t mean its going to hold up. Pay close attention to straight and flush draws. If you see that it is possible for someone to have a one of these hands, you may want to consider mearly calling and hoping to make your full house. Don’t give away any unnecessary money. Remember to get your money in when you have the best of it, and stay away from it when you don’t.

Following these simple tips should help you to minimize your loses and maximize your winnings when playing limit poker.

How To Win The Lotto – Learn How To Win At Pick 3

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Winning the lottery is like no other rush out there. It’s one of those things that when you walk into the gas station to purchase your lotto ticket, you are not expecting to win. It’s almost as if you are just planning on losing but dreaming of winning. The truth is 98% of people that play the lottery will come out to be long term losers.

To really win consistently playing the lottery you need to use a proven system that will really help you to win. In the article, I am going to go over the ways you can consistently win by playing the pick 3 lottery.

The truth is in the pick 3 lottery there are a number of repeated results that happen on a daily basis. Without having a system in place and using the correct precaution the average gambler is at a 1:1000 odd of winning any given pick 3 drawing. By using box sets and unmatched numbers, the player can drastically increase his or her odds to win the pick 3 lottery.

First, let’s go over box sets.

A box set is simply a way of playing the pick 3 where you can win by selecting the 3 numbers in any order.

Let’s say for example you pick the numbers 423

The result comes 3 2 4

You would win this drawing because you placed your bet in the box set style.

UNMATCHED numbers account for nearly 90% of drawing. By being sure that the numbers you pick within your system are unmatched, you can drastically increase your odds at winning the pick 3 lottery.

Doubles and triples occur nearly 10% of the time and should not be picked within the system. The only proven way to win at the pick 3 over a period of time is to be disciplined and stick to your system.

Next time you go into the gas station, go in with confidence and a system in place to walk out a winner!

John Rivert created a proven system on how to win at pick 3. He has been successfully been winning the lottery consistently for over 10 years. Learn about his proven system at http://www.pick3income.com

The Betting Sports Game – Starting With A Winning System

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I am often asked how I can win consistently at sports betting when most people feel that they are doing well if they win one here or there. My general response is that I know winning betting systems and how to play the betting sports game. This usually brings more questions about what I mean by that to which I ask ” How do you determine the games you are going to bet on?” The three most common answers are:

  1. I get them from a sports radio show

  2. I hear about them from friends

  3. I find “free picks” on the Internet

These are not the best places to start winning regularly. While all of these sources may turn up a good pick now and then, they are generally the sexy picks that have big possible pay outs and should not be considered reliable enough to be betting on without solid back up. My solid back up is a sports betting system that consistently wins by playing a small percentage of games that are a virtual lock to win. The result of using this betting system is a group of games that are going to add to your bankroll and keep adding to it. This will give stability to your bankroll and allow you to analyze other sources for bets that you will have a lower chance of winning but will pay off bigger due to the Las Vegas sports odds and allow for the big win. Without a solid starting point you are likely to watch your money disappear.

Here is an example of what I am talking about. For the 2006 basketball season I used my system to bet on less then 100 NBA games. This is a very small percentage of games when you look at the typical schedule, which has each team playing 82 games and there are 30 teams. I will let you do the math, it’s a lot of games, but I only bet a few of them. You may ask why? Well, the system that I use analyzes the games as the season goes on and picked those games as winners with very low risk. And guess what, it was right, as I only lost 2 of those bets. My bankroll grew steadily on every other bet. I didn’t always have huge wins, there were some, but they all had positive results on my bankroll and allowed me to play other parts of the betting sports game. All due to the use of a winning sports betting system as the core of an overall betting system.

I am not saying that I didn’t bet on any other NBA games, I did bet other games for other reasons, but only when I felt they were relatively safe bets. You can now go back to the three typical responses above and analyze these to see if they are worth betting on. I do this often when I always look at the picks touted by others, as you have to think that some of them might have some research out into them. You always need to research them for yourself and then weigh out the risk/reward factor. If it falls in your “safe” betting range then you should place the bet. If it falls into your “unsafe” betting range then avoid betting on the game. I think that the most common problem people have when it comes to sports betting is that they bet too many games and they bet games without doing proper research. Doing that will kill your bankroll and you will lose the betting sports game and is a common mistake with a lot of sports bettors, especially the inexperienced.

Don’t think you will never lose a bet when you use a sports betting system, you will, but using one will give you consistent wins and when you have consistent wins from your core system then you can afford to take a loss here and there when you place other bets because your bankroll has regular winnings coming in. Over time you will see that most of your losses will come from bets placed trying to maximize your returns against the Vegas sports odds line and not from your betting system. That’s is OK and it will never stop happening, but the most important thing to remember so you can get yourself on the winning track, increase your bankroll and win often at the betting sports game is to use a winning betting system to point out the solid low risk bets that you will win and then research the rest to find the most rewarding of the riskier bets.

To make the most of your bankroll and turn it into something to brag about you need a betting system you can count on. The SportsBettingChamp System is the system that will do that. Find out more now. http://www.squidoo.com/winningbettingsystems/

Online Texas Holdem – When To Bluff

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

At the poker table, many players don’t think about showing their cards when everybody folds on a bet. This should not be done all the time as not all opponents will fold when you throw a bet, so it should be used at certain times to get targeted results. This trick is highly useful in Texas Holdem Poker.

For instance, if you were going heads up against an opponent after getting a good patch of cards and after a flop and you had 9h, 7h and not a pair or straight draw. If the opponent threw out a bet and you re-raised him on the right moment, once that opponent player folds and you can show the bluff and show your 9h and 7h.

This move can certainly make your opponent frustrated and you later you can use this to your advantage. Next time when you get good cards, you would have to tempt your that opponent player and throw in a little of acting and play like you did before. If you catch him at the right time you can end up taking his stack because you were able to get under his skin before in the game. However, this approach of revealing your cards can also make the rest of opponent players at the table more likely to call later in the game on your re-raises, so be cautious too not bluff too often.

You also don’t want to bluff to an opponent especially if you have been bluffing while going through a streak of cold cards, this will simply back fire until you come across a good set of cards in time.

Online Poker Cheating

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Online poker cheating can be done, but there is no incentive for an online poker site to let it happen or even participate in the scheme. They make their money from the rake they get from each hand and the more hands of poker that are played means they collect more money. More players on a site lead to more games and more games means more hands dealt and more money collected. Since this is the case, players can assume that good sites monitor play to catch players who are trying to cheat the game.

They have algorithms in place to catch partner play and that is pretty much the only form of cheating that can go on. Two players could be on the phone and be in the same game. They could tell each other what they have and the one player could raise in order to build the pot for the player with the better hand. This pattern is not easy to catch, but it can be defeated by the simple method of folding hands that are consistently raised by one player who then folds their hand. The other way to combat this scheme is to report your suspicions to the site and let them monitor the players that you suspect.

Most live casino players do feel that the dealing algorithm is not as fair as most sites claim. It does seem to favor aces more than any other card value. This may not be factually true, but that is the perception that live cash players have when comparing online play with live cash play. This perception could be caused by the fact that an online game is going to have more hands dealt per hour than are dealt in the same hour of play in a live game.

Another reason that some players feel they are being cheated is easy to see. They are terrible players with no concept of money management and when to call and when to fold. It is no wonder that they lose with such consistency. They are just really bad players who are not willing to learn the game correctly.

The sites that are popular with players all over the world have a vested interest in running a clean game with no hint of any schemes being allowed. It is just not in their best interest to let this go on.

Players that suspect cheating since they lose all of the time should look at their play first before suggesting they are being cheated.

This Article Is A Sincere Attempt From Our Side To Provide You With Substantial Info – About Poker

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Anybody who has not heard of the poker game? Anybody who has not played a round of poker game? I think not. Even celebrities nowadays participate in celebrity poker games. But who knows how poker came about? In truth, there is a dilemma as to who can lay claim for the birth of this card game. The French have it ‘poque’ which descended from the Germans’ ‘pochen’ which means “to knock”. However, it can be contested that it could have originated from the Persian game of ‘as nas’ that could have been taught to the French settlers by Persian sailors in New Orleans. However poker came about, everybody is playing it and loving the challenge. Poker rules therefore are extremely important since you might be betting your car keys already, for all you know. The poker rules guides the green horn on how to loose graciously the first few deals. Thus learning to play a good game of poker is expensive.

We need to know the basics on how to play poker, the poker rules according to the poker variant, poker etiquette and poker hands to be able to passably play. Winning is everything in poker since this is a mind game more than anything else.

First off, we need to clarify the different poker game variants to know which poker rules need to be in play. There are many variants to the poker game but the more universal poker game variants are: draw poker, stud poker, widow poker game, and miscellaneous poker games (which include Stud Horse poker, Oxford stud, Guts, and Blind Man’s Bluff). However, the most commonly played poker games for the first three variants are the five-card draw, seven-card stud, and the Texas hold ‘em.

Since this is the most played poker game variant, poker rules for the five-card draw are generally easy to remember. It is assumed that you basically know the general poker game play, the hand values and the betting system. Poker rules differ from the home-style games to the more formal games as played in the casinos. For formal games blinds are commonly used while for home games, it is more typical use an ante. Ante is where the first betting round starts from the player to the dealer’s left, then the second round betting begins with the player who opened or made the first non-zero betting in the preceding round.

A common house rule in playing five card draw in home or social games is that a player can not replace more than three cards, unless he holds an ace or a wile card so that the deck stub will not be easily depleted. Another common house rule is that the last card in the deck stub is not dealt anymore to ensure that anybody who might have seen it will not use that information.

In the seven card stud, poker rules are a bit more complex than the five card draw since two to eight players can play. The only poker rule to remember, (better make it your mantra) is two down, four up, one down. This is the lay of the cards and not meant to mean something else.

The third most commonly played poker game is the Texas hold ‘em. The poker rules here are the same with the first two but what makes this different is the introduction of lipstick cameras where spectators were able to view each player’s cards.

Definitely, we have seen that poker rules changes a bit depending on the game of poker being played. Now that we have learned the different poker rules, playing it like the pros would be as easy as pie. Good Luck!

Find a Wise Investment in the Horse Racing System

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

As a business-minded person, you’re probably always looking for potential enterprises to invest your money in. Food, real estate, entertainment, fashion – you name it, you’ve probably tried your hand on it.

A Cut Above the Rest

Because you’re a businessman, however, you’re probably looking for something new, something uncommon, something that’s a cut above the rest. After all, too many people investing in one endeavor will only make it redundant.

Indeed, there are many untapped resources out there, one of them being the gaming industry. This industry is also one of the most potentially profitable ones, particularly the horse racing system.

More Than Just Playing Games

Today you will find that people are more lenient and more accepting about gambling, or gaming – the more politically correct term nowadays.

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind about gaming is casinos. Though the profit potential of casinos is practically infinite, it is often run by governments and large corporations, and maybe just well out of your league.

Gaming, however, isn’t limited there. Outside casinos, gaming flourishes in popular pastimes, such as dog racing, poker rooms, sports, and, of course, the ever popular horse racing. A horse racing system is a very good business opportunity – one that requires a reasonable capital, a little bit of know-how, and a very good sense of fun.

What Floats Your Boat

A business founded in horse racing systems can be done in different ways. Depending on what floats your boat, you can invest in the horse racing system that’s right for you.

A race track often has its own already established horse racing system. Many of these race tracks, however, are always looking for more investors to expand and improve the horse racing system. Profits are almost always earned real-time. These tracks already have the state-of-the-art equipment needed to supplement the races and provide the bettors with the odds, probabilities, and accuracy they need, so it’s just a matter of you riding on to this horse racing system.

Another way to run a highly efficient horse racing system is online. This gives you a bigger and ultimately wider scope of bettors. In this day and age when almost everyone latches on to computers and the Internet, bettors don’t need to physically be on the track to bet on races because they can already do so online. You simply have to provide the horse racing system that allows them to do so. Moreover, you will not be limited to just one or two local race tracks. With an online horse racing system, you can work in tandem with as many race tracks all over the world as your system can allow; therefore, your profits come from multiple sources.

Indeed, investing in a good horse racing system leaves little room for errors and very minimal risks on your part. It’s just a matter of utilizing technology and very savvy marketing, as well as building a reputation of fairness and honesty. This way, you’ll find yourself the leader of the herd.

NCAA Tournament Bracket History – Pick Today’s Winners

Saturday, July 25th, 2009

March madness is here yet again! Time for another exciting run for the national championship. This is where Cinderellas are born. Let me start off by saying, if you don’t know what a Cinderella team is you will know after this 2008 march + madness tournament. Cinderella teams are basically a team that’s a HUGE underdog that comes out of know where to make it to the final four and you would not expect in your final four bracket in a million years. The march madness bracket is the most exciting thing to watch out of all sports, hands down.

You can look at the NCAA tournament bracket history to help you decide on your 64 teams. Winning your local office pool because of expert basketball bracket picks is amazing and considering the history of the NCAA tournament bracket. It has been since 2001, that 3 out of 4 number one seeds made it to the final four bracket. It usually a wild ride and a number 2-6 seed takes it down the majority of the time. Remember Syracuse back in 2002? Of coarse you do…number 6 seed out of no where and a huge Cinderella sensation taking down the national championship. Gotta love it!

The other thing you can do is find a great professional handicapper that will deliver you expert NCAA basketball picks for a low cost. There are many professional handicappers out there but they will charge you a huge rate, some even $100.00 a pick which is outrageous. What you need to look for in a professional handicapper is a one time monthly charge, guaranteed wins or your money back, and willing to answer any questions 24/7. If you can find this you will be rolling in the dough and for sure to win your local NCAA bracket office pool.

There is no better feeling to walk into your office the day after the national championship and winning your office pool. No matter how much money you win, it is more of pride. There is no better feeling than predicting the winner and it being right! With a lot of research such as analyzing the conference strengths, taking a look at the team’s records, past bracket history, you could very well do the impossible…pick all 64 teams correctly!

This is definitely one of the most impossible feats and many online sports sites will even offer you over a million dollars if you do. It is called the million dollar bracket challenge all free of charge. Another tip when choosing your NCAA basketball picks is to look for key injuries to players on high seeded teams and also look for teams that are playing horrible going into the march + madness tournament. If a key player goes down on a high seeded team, more times than not they will drop in the first few rounds.

Taking into consideration a lot of factors will put you over the top. Especially finding a professional handicapper for an affordable price.

To Bet or Not to Bet: That is the Question

Friday, July 24th, 2009

You are sitting pretty with pocket Queens and you raise pre-flop under the gun and get two callers. To your amazement the flop comes with a third Queen and you hit your set. Now you have a decision to make – do you slow-play the hand or do you simply bet your monster. There are many factors that will play into your decision of whether or not you should bet your monster or not.

Firstly, what do you think of the other players? Will they likely call a large bet right now if you decided to bet? If they would, it strongly suggests that you should bet your monster. If you think your opponent is maybe weak and will fold to your bet, however, you may want to check your hand and try to induce a bluff. Another consideration to take into hand is whether or not there is any obvious straight or flush draws on the board. If your opponents are likely to hold some sort of draw, betting your monster once again seems like the best move because they will be forced to pay for their draw cards – the last thing you want is to let them see two free cards and then fold their hand after you could have got two solid betting rounds in.

You also need to look at the risks of picking each option. For instance, if you slow play your big hand it is possible that your opponents can chase down free cards and outdraw you, when they would have folded if you bet. Those are lost chips for you. Also, if they are planning on chasing you will want to make them pay for the cards and not give them for free. A possible risk of betting out your hand is that you may cancel out an attempt of a possible bluff by an opponent who would likely bet if you slow played your hand.

These are all considerations you have to think of before deciding whether or not to slow play your monster or bet it strong. When processing the information your given, make a choice you think is right and make your move. You will most likely win a pot when you have flopped a huge hand but whether or not you maximize your chips will depend on exactly how you play it.
