Online Poker Rooms

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

In the past few months, there has been a dramatic shift in online poker rooms. Since the US regulation attempting to ban online poker deposits, many players have moved their money to a few key sites. Party Poker used to be the number one online poker room in the world. Now most of the players have migrated over to Poker Stars and Full Tilt. Poker Stars is home to three of three WSOP main event champions. Chris Moneymaker, Greg “Fossilman” Raymer, and Joseph Hachem all make Poker Stars their online poker site. Poker Stars has always been at the top of the online poker world in terms of software. The customer service at Poker Stars excellent and cash outs are always on time. Poker Stars is the best online room for big tournaments. The big Sunday tournament usually pays at least $100, 000 to first place winner.

Full Tilt poker is making a huge stride towards top place since the US legislation. Full Tilt is home to well known poker professionals such as Phil Ivey, Jennifer Harman, Gus Hansen, John Juanda, and Mike Matusow. On any given night you can catch at least one well known pro playing in high limit cash games. Full Tilt is host to probably the biggest online cash game of 300/600NL. Patrik Antonius often waits at the $60, 000 buy-in table until a brave soul challenges him to heads-up poker. Phil Ivey has been known to destroy his opponents at these limits also. Every night is an exciting show of high stakes poker. Online poker is only getting better, are you the next super star?

Playing to Win – Winning for Fun

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

The objective of playing slots online is to win. Getting a jackpot can sometimes change lives depending on the payout. If you are a player who wishes to make the big money, you can do so with one easy tip: play for fun.

Having great expectations each and every time you play slots online could leave you feeling disappointed and maybe even disgruntled. There is never a need for this if you jump into slots with the only expectation of having fun. Many times, players who only have experience playing slots in traditional casinos believe that they might experience more luck online.

A positive thing to note when you are considering playing an online slot machine is that the winnings may be greater if you win. This is because the upkeep of online slots is cheaper for the establishment than a traditional one. The player does not need to know too much more about “how to win” online. This is because the instructions for the online casino and slots are quite easy to read.

The one-arm bandits that you may be used to seeing in the aisles and aisles of casinos are quickly becoming a thing of the past. When you think about the ways the technology nowadays, it is easy to assume that the technology of online slots is far beyond your comprehension. The truth is that when you play traditional slots, you can easily play the online version. Online casino games are quite easy.

Most players will sign up to win easy and fast money online. They fail to remember that there is a random way the sequences and numbers are displayed, creating odds for anyone to win. Safe and fun, slots online should be played by anyone who wants to enjoy an innocent and fun game of chance. Slots online is not like shooting craps in the alley. It is a fun game for players of all levels.

Remember when you play for fun that you will always win. If you play for big bucks every single time, you may walk away from online slots more disappointed.

When Betting on Sports, Leave the Action Outside the Sports Book

Monday, March 30th, 2009

You see it all the time… You go to the sports book in Vegas (the home of betting sports) and there are crowds of men watching 15 TV screens at once. They’re clutching handfuls of tickets from betting sports of all kinds… football, basketball, hockey, college and pro… all betting on these games at the same time.

They’re cheering one screen and screaming at the next. It’s a raucus atmosphere and can’t be matched anywhere else for the true sports fan. These gamblers all have one thing in common: They’re there for the “ACTION”.

I remember the last time I was in Vegas with my “Band of Betting Brothers” and the afternoon college games had just finished. We’re on our way our to our traditional Lawry’s Prime Rib dinner and one of the guys stops me on the way out the door and says, “Larry, give me a pick in the late Hawaii game, I gotta have some action during dinner.”

This mindset of always needing to have some money “working” on one game or another is the epitome of the rush a gambler gets from betting sports. Unfortunately, it’s another sample of the behaviors the casino owners are counting on from the gamblers in their fine hotels.

It makes no sense. The sooner a gambler starts to look at a bet on sports as an investment rather than a gamble, he will become a bettor instead of a gambler… a better bettor at that!

You need discipline, but the way to minimize risk and maximize earnings when betting sports is to analyze the games, find your top one, two or three plays, and play those games ONLY. If you play a whole slate of 15 to 20 games, what are the odds you’re going to come out ahead? Also, if you do lose, you will probably lose big.

The better way to approach it is to consolidate your wagers into a small number of games, bet the same amount for each bet (remember, each bet is a 50/50 proposition, there are no odds so you don’t do yourself any favors by weighting your bets across multiple games), and wait for the results happy that you have enough “action” for the day.

Odds are, you will either hit 2 out of 3 picks, or lose 2 out of 3 picks. This is a reasonable expectation and will keep you in the game longer… which is what you want in the long run, isn’t it?

Liverpool Football Club Otherwise Known As LFC

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Liverpool Football Club is the most winning club in English football history, having won eighteen league titles and been crowned champions of Europe on 5 occasions, including the remarkable victory of 2005. Liverpool Football Club is a professional club based in Liverpool, in the north west of England. For millions, Liverpool Football Club is a special place and this is its own special story. Not wishing to offend anyone but supporting Liverpool Football Club is more akin to a religion than a plain interest.

Liverpool City

Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Britain and the fifth largest on the planet. Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese and African community in Europe. Liverpool carried out and financed the 1st ever Atlantic telecommunication cable in 1886. Liverpool is home to the Grand National, the most renowned steeplechase in the world. The Liverpool Hotel and Hotel Liverpool as well as the Liverpool Adelphi are great places to reside and you’ll be in reach of Liverpool Restaurants and other attractions. Whatever you do, you’ll need a map of Liverpool to find your way around the old city. Don’t forget to visit the excellent Tate Gallery in Liverpool, this is situated at the redeveloped Albert Dock.

Club

Club followers from Asia know as much about Liverpool FC as some of the best well-versed and most faithfull fans in the UK. Clubs that frequently win high-profile trophies make more coverage, both at home and aboard, and command much higher costs. On July 30, 2004, the Liverpool City Council gave the club planning permission to construct a new 60,000 seat stadium, nearby at Stanley Park. Numerous clubs have moved to new grounds in the last 10 years. Liverpool Football Club is the most successful club in the history of English football.

Football

Football has always been watched by all classes, this working class vibe is more attached to particular clubs than it is to the game as a whole. While the word Liverpool clearly denotes the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and elsewhere, the name Liverpool FC is, in its ordinary signification, linked exclusively with the Liverpool Football Club. I count myself extremely lucky to have been around during the fabulous years after promotion back into the 1st Division, proud to have great memories of wonderful times, Bill Shankly, Joe Mercer, Don Revie and the players of the era and say good luck to the new world of scouse Football.

Anfield

Anfield itself is vastly different to what it looked like 2, 5 and 10 years ago not to mention 20, 50 or even 100 years ago. The highlight for many, however, is the possibility to walk down the famous players’ tunnel and touch the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign. The Anfield atmosphere, history and fabric is all part of the club. The fact is that LFC is Anfield and Anfield is LFC. The club offers tours of its stadium, Anfield, which include a visit to the dressing rooms and a seat in the team dugouts.

European

European triumphs at the Stadio Olympico, Stad de Lutz and as recently as the Westfalenstadion are witness to what Liverpool Football Club is all about. The club was present at two of the biggest tragedies in European football — at Heysel in 1985 and Hillsborough in 1989. Liverpool made their first impact on the European circuit in 1973 with a UEFA Cup triumph, as well as winning another league title that season. In recent years, the city has emphasised its cultural attractions, winning the honour of European City of Culture for 2008.

Wheeling to Win Lotto or Lottery

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

Before I go any further please let me explain that Lotto or Lottery are basically the same. Some American States call it Lotto. Some countries in Europe call it Lottery. So please don’t get confused when I mention Lotto or Lottery. They are the same. I shall switch between the two so both sides of the pond know what I’m on about and no preference is given to either.

Imagine a world that doesn’t have wheels. Of course, this was once true, long before the first people invented it, but today, it wouldn’t be likely that we could imagine a world without them. Wheels were first invented approximately 5000 years ago. From this, carts and wagons made transportation of heavy objects or large loads much easier. It’s arguably true that the wheel is in fact mankind’s greatest invention. And of course, many lottery or lotto players would agree.

The wheels lottery players use to play their games and the ones on our various forms of transportation are somewhat similar, but there are also some differences. For example, the wheels on an automobile take us down the road, while lotto wheels “mix” numbers you want to play in different combinations.

Similarly, our cars’ steering wheels take us in the direction we want to go, and in fact, this is a better parallel as to how the lottery wheel actually works. A lottery wheel, we hope, will come up with the numbers we want so we can go in the direction we choose, namely winning a prize in our countries Lotto.

Basically, a lottery wheel, defined, puts numbers together randomly, at the lowest possible cost. People who play the lotto, of course, have the goal of winning their particular prize. This wheel, then, lets us direct ourselves, similar to a steering wheel in a car, toward that goal. However, the wheel itself does not win the prize.

First, there’s playing technique. Pick whatever combination of right numbers you think will get you a winning ticket in your Lotto. If we can do this, and we put the numbers into the proper kind of wheel, the wheel will take care of the rest.

For instance, a shopping cart has wheels that can carry the goods you choose. First, though, you have to choose the goods you want and then you have to put them in the cart. When you play your particular lottery game, load that wheel with the right “goods,” too, with whatever Lotto numbers will hopefully match your game’s winning numbers. If you do this properly, the wheel will deliver the goods, just like a shopping cart, by putting your numbers in as a winning combination dependant on your wheeling guarantee, in either Lotto or Lottery.

It’s worth pointing out when using Lottery Wheels they carry some sort of guarantee. It could be a 5 from 6 which means if 6 winning numbers are in your selections then the guarantee is that at least 5 numbers will fall together. You could also get other prizes as well.

So what you do is decide how much you want to spend then pick a wheel from Lotto Buster that matches your budget with the appropriate guarantee. Some lottery wheels have a 5/6 guarantee and use 30 numbers but that comes to a lot of money. Ideally when using the bigger Lotto wheels you should form a lottery syndicate.

I use a Lottery wheeling system from my book, it covers 18 numbers, comes to 30 games and the guarantee is 3/4 which means if 4 correct lottery numbers appear in my 18 selections then we are guaranteed at least a 3 number win but could get all 4 together which has happened to us on a few occasions. We have also got more than 1 line of 3 but work to the guarantee and everything else is a bonus Lottery win.

Roulette Sniper Review

Friday, March 27th, 2009

In this Roulette Sniper review, I’m going to talk about everything I know relating to the program, what results I achieved by using it, how much you can expect to earn with it and a whole lot more. By the end of this you’ll know whether you want to buy Roulette Sniper.

As far as roulette-beating systems are concerned, Roulette Sniper was the first product released to the general public that afforded the average human being a way to beat online roulette. As you’ll need to have the program opened in front of you it’s not very useful in a real-world casino as I guarantee you’ll be thrown out the second casino staff spot you opening your laptop at a roulette table!

So how does the program work? If you haven’t bought Roulette Sniper yet I can guarantee it’s because you’re still wondering how it actually beats the game, and I’ll go over the three main methods it uses to gain an advantage over the casino now.

The first thing Roulette Sniper does is to record every spin and the result of where the ball is landing. When it has detected a pattern where the ball hasn’t landed for a predetermined amount of spins on the wheel, it then informs the player to bet on that section, and with a specific amount of money. While the fact that the ball hasn’t landed on a certain section of the board isn’t a guarantee that it won’t come up again, it is a good indicator when you’re taking the laws of odds and averages into account.

Secondly, when the player loses a spin of the wheel, Roulette Sniper implements an age-old mathematical principle called the Martingale principle of raising bets, so that when a win is achieved, it will cover all previous losses as well as making the player a profit. The thing with the Martingale principle is that it’s flawed in the way that if a large losing streak comes up — which is possible — the bettor will come up against the table’s upper betting limit meaning that you will not be able to raise any further and suffer a rather large loss. However, Roulette Sniper has a way of canceling this out which we’ll talk about next.

Thirdly, Roulette Sniper implements several smart betting practices, the main being limiting the amount of wins and losses at a predetermined mathematical amount so that the player will not continue betting at a single table to guard against a losing streak. It also records the wins and losses the player makes and will never allow the player to continue betting if it detects that the losses are even close to outgrowing their wins. Because of this, the player may experience a few small losses in the short term, however in the long run will always come out on top. Because it will never let the player continue betting at a table if even a short losing streak is experienced, this means that the Martingale’s flaw is canceled out as well.

In effect, Roulette Sniper is not foolproof in the short term meaning you may have a small loss or two, but in the long run you will always come out at a profit at the end of the betting day.

While you’ll not likely become a millionaire by using Roulette Sniper, you’re guaranteed to be able to make a decent living out of it as long as you put a couple of hours a day of use with it. Even betting only the minimal $1 bets with it, you can make $50-$80 or more every hour.

So would I recommend the program? Definitely. As far as I’m concerned there is no better way for the entry-level person to get started in the world of professional gambling.

I hope this Roulette Sniper review has helped you to make a better decision about this program and I hope you can experience some significant success with it!

How to Play Craps Proposition Bets

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Knowledgeable gamblers and even most novice craps players know that the proposition box at the center of the craps game contains bad bets. Even so, the promise of high 30 for 1 and 15 for 1 payoffs advertised on the felt entices many players. On a hot craps game, the proposition box is usually as jammed up with bets as the pass line and place bets.

Despite the aggressive house advantage on all proposition bets, the fact remains that for many people they are fun to play. First-time players at the craps table are always curious about the proposition bets. The horn bet sounds so mysterious and people want to know just what the “hardway” is.

How to play proposition bets and grasping what they actually pay are not easy aspects of learning craps. Game procedures restrict players from accessing the proposition box, and players must have their bets set up through the dealers. A player generally communicates to the dealer on the stick position which bet he or she wants and then tosses the chips to the dealer. Players can also tell their dealer on the inside position that they want a proposition bet, and then that dealer will get it set up with the stick dealer.

The most popular proposition bets are the hardways and then the horn bet. Hardways refer to the four, six, eight, or ten rolling as a perfect pair. For example, a hard six is the roll of three and three as opposed to the roll of four and two. A hardway bet wins when the dice roll this perfect pair combination. The bet will lose when the number rolls as a non-pair or the seven rolls. Other rolls do not affect the hardway bets.

Hard six and hard eight pay 10 for 1 and hard four and hard ten pay 8 for 1. Note that the statement is 10 for 1 and not 10 to 1. This means that for the 10 units that you win, you give up 1 unit to the house. Typically, a winner with $1 on the hard six, for example, will be paid $9 and left up on the bet for $1. The concept of giving up the original bet for the payoff often bothers new players who are expecting to get another dollar.

During come out rolls, hardway bets are automatically shut off, meaning that they are not in action until a point number is marked. Players have the option of turning their hardway bets on during come out rolls.

Horn bets, unlike hardways, are one-roll bets. A one-roll bet will either win or lose on the next roll of the dice. Because of the one shot nature of one-roll bets, they mostly have the high 30 for 1 or 15 for 1 payoffs.

The horn bet combines the numbers two, three, eleven, and twelve into one bet that is a four way split. A $4 minimum is required on a horn bet in order to place $1 on each part of the horn. If, on the next roll, one of the horn numbers wins, then the portion of the bet on that number will be paid. For example, on a roll of twelve, the $1 on the twelve won 30 for 1, or $29. However, the other three parts of the horn lost, which means $3 must be subtracted from the payoff. The result is then that the player receives $26 and still has a $4 horn up for the next roll.

Players seem to pursue proposition bets simply for the thrill of hitting the long shot. Many people who are doing well with the friendlier bets on the pass or don’t pass can fritter away winnings in the proposition box by keeping all the hardways in action or always betting horns on the come out.

The experience of playing the proposition box ranges from fun to frustrating, but it is always expensive. Good gamblers resist the temptation.

Develop Your Poker Strategy

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

There are many strategies to learn when learning to play poker. Poker, particularly Texas Holdem is growing in popularity. Of all the table games available, poker is the one that demands a consistent strategy to win at it. Even with a bad hand, a good poker player can have a high chance of winning if they use a good winning strategy. Here are some suggestions to help you develop your winning poker strategy;

1) Don’t be afraid to fold a hand. Many inexperienced poker players never play long because they think they need to play every hand to be a winner. The you have got to be in it to win it strategy. In poker this is not a winning strategy. I would suggest that you don’t “chase” cards and hope that future cards will improve your situation if you have nothing. Fold as often as needed and live to play another hand.
2) Do not accept those alcohol beverages the house so freely offers you! Alcohol will just make you more bold and sloppy as a player.
3) Have a good poker face. Your opponents are going to be reading your face and body language. Many poker players show their opponents what they have in their hand by unknowingly displaying their poker hand on their face. So try to be consistent with your expressions regardless what type of hand you have been dealt.
4) In most poker rooms, you won’t gain fortunes, so please stay within your limits. Bet with your head and control the betting as much as you can.

I have listed only a few basic strategies here to follow. Work hard to develop your own winning poker strategy. The more experience you can get playing the game, and the more you can expose yourself to poker, the stronger your strategy will be. Also, I highly recommend you search for resources that are complete and that you can consistently follow. My theory is that my favorite sports team would not enter a contest without a complete game plan for winning. Therefore, I cannot expect to win at poker without a complete and sound strategy to win at poker. So do your research, gain your experience and have fun.

Good Luck!

I am sharing with the world observations I have made while spending many hours working at the casino. You can find more tips by getting your FREE report at http://www.beaholdempro.com
